Settle a windy tummy with Kiwiherb ColicComfort.

Colic is a distressing and anxious condition for parents and baby. Although the cause of colic is unclear, connections have been made to baby’s immature digestive system struggling to cope. • Eases burping, wind and bloating.

About Colic

Colic is one of the common reasons parents seek medical advice during the child’s first three months of life. It is described as repeated periods of crying, inability to settle, irritability and discomfort for no known reason or relative cause.

If this occurs up to three hours per day, up to three days a week, for more than three weeks in a row in an otherwise healthy baby aged two weeks to 4 months, it is defined as colic.ColicComfort 100mL NEW-865

Colic is not a well-understood issue that may affect up to 40% of babies[1].

The common signs of colic include:

  • Continuously screaming and crying.
  • Arching of their back.
  • Clenching their fists and tucking their legs up.
  • Seeking to feed and rejecting it quickly.
  • Seeming unsettled after breastfeeding.
  • Struggling to settle while lying down.

Other than this distressing time of the day, the baby often seems otherwise healthy and happy over the day.
